The FR-200 walkie-talkie set offers just that little bit more. In addition to all the basic functions, which you will also find on most other sets, the FR-200 is equipped with VOX control. This means that you can connect to the other person, simply by speaking into the microphone of the walkie-talkie or headset. In addition, this walkie-talkie set comes with rechargeable batteries and a charging station. Once charged you can be on standby for 35 hours or speak for 13 hours. The range of this beautiful set is no less than seven kilometres.

The FR-200 has 38 CTCSS codes. CTCSS (Continuous Tone Controlled Squelch System) is a noise reduction system. It makes it possible to share a radio channel with multiple users without experiencing interference from each other, as an inaudible tone code is sent when transmitting through a walkie-talkie. Only if the tone code of the sending handset matches the tone code of the receiving handset, the receiving handset will display the signal. This prevents you from being disturbed by other PMR-446 transceivers communicating on the same channel.

In addition, the walkie-talkie set also has 83 DCS codes. This encoding works the same as CTCSS, only DCS is a digital encoding.
