At Alecto we have Walkie Talkies (walkie-talkies) for both recreational and professional use. You use a Walkie Talkie to communicate with each other over a limited distance without the need for a mobile network. They are also often robust, which means that you can use them well for rough outdoor sports or on a skiing holiday, since the range in the mountains is often poor. Furthermore, they can also be used in the hospitality industry. At Alecto we also have Walkie Talkies for children, because they are of course also just fun toys. With charging station With built-in flashlight
Walkie Talkies for Recreational and Professional Use
Range of Walkie Talkies
Walkie talkies vary in the distance over which they can communicate. Distances depend on the environment. In urban areas, the distance you can cover with a walkie talkie is considerably less. The range of Alecto walkie talkies varies from 3 to up to 10 kilometers!
Frequency of Walkie Talkies
With a walkie talkie, you can communicate safely and without interference anytime and anywhere. Our two-way radios and walkie talkies operate on the PMR446 frequency. You can have an infinite number of walkie talkies communicating with each other, as long as they are set to the same channel/subchannel.

How does a Walkie Talkie Work?
Walkie talkies work through radio frequency communication. They consist of a transmitter and a receiver that operate in the same frequency range. When a person speaks into the microphone of a walkie talkie, the sound is converted into a radio signal and transmitted via the antenna. The receiver of another walkie talkie within range picks up the signal and converts it into audible sound, allowing the conversation partners to communicate with each other.
Walkie talkies use half-duplex communication, which means both parties cannot speak and listen at the same time. Instead, they need to press the push-to-talk (PTT) button to speak and release it to listen.
Safety is paramount during outdoor adventures. Our walkie talkies are specially designed to meet this need. With features such as emergency buttons (SOS buttons), built-in flashlights, and weather-resistant housings, they offer peace of mind and reliable communication, even in emergency situations. Whether you are hiking in the woods or standing on a mountain peak, our walkie talkies are your reliable companion.
For Young and Old
