The Alecto SA300 6X smoke detector is a set of 6 smoke detectors, extra slim with a stylish and discreet design. Service life 10 years
This sleek design smoke detector has a lithium battery that lasts no less than 10 years. Energy efficient and reliable. The high quality optical sensor also has a service life of 10 years, ensuring that for the next 10 years you will be immediately alerted if there is smoke or fire in the home. This product is supplied with a 10 year warranty. When the battery is almost empty, you will receive a warning.
Large hush, time-out, test and reset button
The Alecto SA300 6X is equipped with a large yet discreet hush, time-out, test and reset button. The entire surface is one large button, which you can easily press with the back of a broom. You no longer need to stand on a step ladder to test the detector or to switch off the detector or the alarm.
- You use the hush button when you want to temporarily stop the alarm that is sounding.
- The time-out button is useful when you want to temporarily switch off the detector when there is a chance of smoke development, for example when using a tabletop grill.
- For smoke detectors, regulations require regular testing. Press the test button once a month and always after a period of absence.
Easy installation
This compact smoke detector from Alecto is suitable for wall and ceiling mounting and easy to install at the desired location. It is supplied with a base plate, screws and wall plugs to make installation even easier. As soon as the smoke detector is clicked onto the mounting plate, the detector is activated.
The best places to install smoke detectors are in the hallway or on the landing. These are often the escape routes in the home if a fire breaks out. If you want maximum safety, install a smoke detector in every room where a fire could start.

Smoke detector requirement from 1 July 2022
From 1 July 2022, it is mandatory in the Netherlands to have a smoke detector on every residential floor in your home and in enclosed spaces that form part of an escape route. The Building Decree has been amended for this purpose, making compliance legally mandatory. This also applies if you live in a rented property. An approved smoke detector must be installed on every floor. An attic that is not used as a living space does not need to have a smoke detector installed. If your enclosed hallway on the ground floor is an escape route for a floor above, you must also install a working smoke detector there.
