The Alecto SMARTSMOKE11 Smoke Alarm goes off when smoke is detected. By linking the smoke alarm to smart systems such as Tuya or the Alecto Smart Life app (for Android and iOS), you can control all of Alecto’s Smart Life products with just one app. This enables you to keep an overview for yourself, which is useful when it comes to your home’s fire safety.
The Alecto SMARTSMOKE11 smoke alarm has a lithium battery that lasts no less than a decade. It’s energy-efficient and reliable. The high-quality optical sensor also has a 10-year lifespan. This ensures you will be alerted instantly if there is any smoke or fire in your home for the next 10 years.
You obviously hope it’ll never be necessary, but in case of an emergency, the entire household will be alerted by the smart SMARTSMOKE in different areas of the house. Pair it with your smart lights and you can make all lights flash red in case of any smoke detection.
The SMARTSMOKE11 complies with all European standards such as EN14604:2005/AC:2008.
To ensure extra safety, the Alecto SMARTSMOKE11 Smoke Alarm comes with a battery that works for up to 10 years. The devices give a 'low' warning when the battery needs replacing, and the batteries’ lives can be monitored on the app.
The useful pause, test and reset button is particularly good to have. This large and inconspicuously looking key is easy to reach from a distance with, for example, the end of a broomstick.

Smoke alarm obligation starting 1 July 2022
Starting 1 July 2022, it is mandatory in the Netherlands to have a smoke alarm on every floor of your house and in confined spaces through which an escape route runs. The Dutch Building Decree is amended, which makes this a legal obligation to comply with. This applies to both homeowners and tenants, regardless of the building’s age.
