Temporary off button

Smoke detector requirement from 1 July 2022
From 1 July 2022, it is mandatory in the Netherlands to have a smoke detector on every residential floor in your home and in enclosed spaces through which an escape route runs. The Building Decree will be amended, making compliance a legal requirement. This applies to owner-occupied and rental homes, both existing buildings and new constructions.
