What are the advantages of Zigbee motion sensor?
The Alecto SMART-MOTION10 smart Zigbee motion sensor is a wireless sensor that uses the open Zigbee standard. Sensors that use the Zigbee standard work very efficiently and have a low power consumption, which increases the battery life. This reliable smart-motion-sensor will last for 2 years on one battery. The SMART-MOTION10 has to be linked to a Zigbee-gateway such as the Alecto SMART-BRIDGE10. The bridge provides the communication between the internet and the sensor.
This reliable smart-motion-sensor works with a base station (gateway) so actions can be set-up. You can, for instance, have the lights turned on when you are coming home and the sensor detects movement. This can be very useful whilst entering a dark room with your hands full. By using the Smart Life app, you can write home automation scenarios. The Alecto SMART-MOTION10 motion-sensor works with Tuya. This allows you to link the sensor to other smart devices.
