Better safe than sorry. There are products you hope you will never need, but you’d be happy to have if you need to. Our EL-450 flight ladder is one such product. It’s designed to enable rapid evacuation in the event of an emergency and fire. Thanks to its design, it’s quick and easy to use by everyone in your home. No complications, just unfold it and get to safety. The EL-450 is suitable for most types of window frames. With a length of four meters/13 feet, it creates safety and escape possibilities for several floors. The emergency ladder has been tested by us and a third party. This has earned the EL-450 a TÜV certification. It also meets the EN131-2/3 standard for ladders.

How do you use a flight ladder?

It is always good to combine the flight ladder with other prevention measures such as a fire alarm. If emergencies do occur, however unexpectedly, it’s good that everyone in your household knows where the emergency ladder is located. The emergency ladder takes you and your family members to safety in four steps:

1. Pin hook onto the windowsill.
2. Roll out the fire ladder on the façade.
3. Carefully stand on the first steps of the fire ladder.
4. Climb down.
