This CO detector is equipped with a display, allowing you to quickly and clearly see any alerts. 2-year warranty

Wall mounting and free standing
This carbon monoxide detector does not necessarily need to be mounted on the wall, because you can also place the Alecto COA4010 on a surface. Very convenient, and thanks to its compact size (40 x ø 110 mm), you can also take the detector with you on holiday.
You often place a CO detector in rooms with a combustion source (a possible source of CO). In your home, you can think of the following sources:
- heating appliances, such as central heating boilers, fireplaces and (pellet) stoves
- water heating appliances, such as geysers, gas boilers and combi boilers
- cooking appliances, such as gas cookers, gas or wood ovens
In other rooms (without a combustion source), you place the carbon monoxide detector at breathing height, depending on the activities usually carried out in the room. This can be sitting or walking height in a living room, or the height at which you sleep in a bedroom. All instructions for the best placement are clearly and comprehensively described in the manual, supplemented with clear illustrations.
Also warning at lower carbon monoxide concentrations
Carbon monoxide detectors display the carbon monoxide concentration in ppm. Ppm stands for parts per million, meaning the number of particles per 1 million particles. By law, CO detectors must sound an alarm when a carbon monoxide concentration of 50 ppm is detected for 60 minutes. Even when you are asleep, an alarm of >85 dB will not go unnoticed.
However, prolonged exposure to a lower concentration of CO is also harmful to health. The Alecto COA4010 carbon monoxide detector already gives a warning when a concentration of 20 ppm is detected for 60 minutes.
Extra insight via the display
The display of the COA4010 provides extra insight. As soon as carbon monoxide is detected, the concentration is shown on the display. Normally, the value is 000 ppm, and the display shows nothing. The display also provides insight into the battery status and shows alerts for high CO concentrations, test mode and any error messages.
Highest quality
Like all Alecto carbon monoxide detectors, this model is of the highest quality and complies with the European standard (EN50291-1:2018). The Alecto COA4010 has a test button that allows you to easily test periodically whether the carbon monoxide detector is still functioning properly. No more worries about carbon monoxide with this practical CO detector. When the 10-year lifespan is almost over, an audible signal will indicate that the detector needs to be replaced.
