Professional measurements

The wireless outdoor sensor and indoor unit (screen) come with various high-quality sensors that give a complete and reliable picture of the current local weather conditions and indoor comfort.

Based on real-time data and history, the feeling temperature, heat index and dew point are also calculated, as well as a weather forecast for the next 24 hours. If desired, you can set a number of alarms for maximum and minimum values in temperature, humidity and precipitation. The weather station has a memory with the lowest and highest measured values.

Weather station with app

The Alecto WS5200 connects you to your own Wi-Fi network. Following this, you can link the weather station to one of the many online weather platforms such as Weather Underground (Wunderground), ECOWITT, Weather Cloud, WOW and WS View plus. The WS5200 allows you to add a weather station to these networks yourself. Next to being able to take your own weather measurements, you also get access to those of others. The data from any connected global weather stations is used for reliable local weather forecasts. For example, Weather Underground alone has more than 250,000 connected weather stations. Due to the internet connection, the date and time are always well-synchronised. Above all, this makes it possible to remain equipped with the latest firmware.

Indoor unit with clear display and display lighting

In addition to the app, the unit comes with a clear 12.5 cm / 4.9 inch display which shows you the measured values and certain historical data clearly. The screen is equipped with display lighting and therefore visible in the dark. Next to weather conditions and forecasts, the Alecto WS5200 also displays the date and time. Use the weather station on your bedside table, a dresser or simply hang it on the wall.

Advanced wireless outdoor unit

The outdoor unit is equipped with most sensors and can be placed outside - preferably in an open environment - where the sensors are not hindered by anything. Do not place the unit next to things like walls, as this can have an effect on wind speed, wind direction and temperature. The outdoor sensor shares the registered data wirelessly with your indoor unit and app that can be used on your smartphone, tablet or computer. The wireless outdoor sensor’s range is 30 meters / 98 feet, although it will be larger in an open field without any obstacles.
