The WS-5500 weather station shares and compares your weather data with that of Weather Underground. Weather Underground is one of the largest and best-known providers of real-time weather information. You may know them from the weather website www.underground.com or one of the many apps with which you can read weather forecasts from weather stations around the world, more than 200,000 at the moment. With the WS-5500 you can now add an extra weather station to the Weather Underground network. So, not only can you take your own weather measurements, but also have access to those of others.

Professional weather measurements

The measurement unit of the WS-5500 has a large number of sensors onboard to measure all possible weather factors. This way you always have insight into UV and sun rays, air humidity, wind speed, wind direction, wind chill, air pressure, outside temperature and precipitation. You place the measurement unit outside, and you do not need to keep returning to the unit to charge. A solar cell provides the sensors with the necessary power. All data is transmitted wirelessly to your weather station over a distance of up to 100 metres. On the large colour screen included indoors, you can read all measurement data and compare it with that of others.

Your own app

You are not dependent on the colour screen. You can access your own weather data and statistics from anywhere in the world via the WunderStation app and, just like your weather station, you can review, share and compare your data with that of other Underground Weather stations. In the app you design your own dashboards to make your weather forecast as personal and relevant as possible.
