In addition to the fact that the smoke alarm gives you a quick warning in case of smoke or fire, it also gives a notification in case of carbon monoxide development. This means you don't have to install a separate device to keep an eye on carbon monoxide. It’s extra advantageous! A CO alarm should be installed in each room containing a combustion source (e.g., central heating boiler, fireplace, stove).

When the battery is low and in need of replacement, the device will give a notification.
