1 Year smoke detector requirement

1 year ago, on 1 July 2022, the smoke alarm obligation came into force. This important legislation requires all homes for sale and rent in the Netherlands to be equipped with one or more smoke detectors, with the aim of ensuring the safety of residents. Although last year was a big step forward in fire prevention, far from every home still complies with the legislation.
